Enjoy scrapbooking at this beautiful East Texas bed and breakfast located in the heart of the Historic District of the City of Montgomery, where the Lone Star Flag was born. Approximately 30 minutes from The Woodlands, Texas and just down the road from the thriving metropolis of Houston or Conroe, Texas.
The retreat center is located at The Bells of Montgomery, a historic wedding Chapel and reception facility.
The Texas Star provides spacious crafting tables, comfortable chairs, sidekicks, individual waste baskets, plentiful lighting and a stocked refreshment area. The scrapping room is separate from the lodging facility and allows you to crop, drop, and leave your tools in a secure location. The beautifully decorated lodging area located on the second floor has a spacious gathering room with television, VCR/DVD player, movies, book's and bar area.

Weekend scrapbooking retreats will require a booking of 18 individuals except for Mini Retreats. This can be any combination of one or more consultants. The package includes:
- 3 days/2 night stay
- Dinner served Friday night
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner served Saturday
- Breakfast and lunch served on Sunday
- Wine will be served with the dinner meal
Discount rates are offered for Tuesday - Thursday events.
Along with the homestyle meals, the Texas Star Scrapbooking Retreat provides you and your guests plenty of ice, soft drinks, bottled water, snacks, baked goodies, special blend of coffee and teas. The beds and a bathroom are fully dressed--all linens are provided. Coffeemaker, toaster, microwave oven and full refrigerator available.
The Texas Star Scrapbooking Retreat is specifically designed for Creative Memories and other scrapbooking consultants and their guests. Groups with agendas other than scrapbooking are also welcome.
Additional Services
Other services offered at our facility include massages, facials, and reflexology sessions. Our homestyle cassaroles may be purchased to go. Beer and wine may also be purchased.
